Only products which have passed demanding environmental and cleaning tests laid down by the EU can carry the Ecolabel.
The symbol can only be carried on products which have undergone stringent testing in a number of categories. It’s your assurance that Simply Sensitive and Simply Active guarantee an efficient wash, a reduced amount of total chemicals, less packaging, increased biodegradability, and limited substances harmful to the aquatic environment.
The EU recommends the following steps to ensure environmentally-friendly washing:
- Pre-sort your laundry (by colour, type of fibre, degree of soiling)
- Always wash with a full load without overfilling
- Use the recommmended dosage
- Choose low temperature washes and shorter cycles
